Descriptionblue ladies' 'wiggle' dress in grosgrain, with three-quarter sleeves and wide fold-down collar to just over shoulders. Oval neckline and two pockets. Zip fastener at back. Embroidery around the collar, flower design, in silver thread with beading. The nickname 'wiggle dress' applied to dresses where the hem was narrower than the hipline, and meant that the wearer's movement was slightly restricted, causing what was considered an attractive 'wiggle' as she walked.
