Descriptionearly Bronze age beaker rim with a heavy internal bevel, decorated with four concentric lines of comb impressions, done with a comb with very narrow teeth which is similar to the comb found on the neck. The neck appears to have been cylindrical; the surviving decoration comprises (from the rim downwards) three lines comb, a chevron band, three lines, a chevron band, and three lines comb. The fabric is friable with stony grits, and has a pinky red slip. Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. Found at Lowhillside, Bourtie.
