DescriptionSilver award medal from Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland. Obverse: Symbol of the Highland and Agricultural Society of Society with "Semper Armis Nunc et Industria". Motif includes figures of agricultura and industry, depicting a highland farmer in a kilt, holding sythe and wheat on left, on right is an 18th century farmer with a hoe and plow, a raised plinth between these upon which sits a classical female figure with Scottish armorial shield. Reverse: Inscribed around outer edge of medal "Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland: Inst. MDCCLXXXIV (1784)" A laurel wreath in centre of medal and inside engraved "John Stott for Hoeing 1932"
