DescriptionTurkish sword bayonet with single fuller blade. Single curved quillion, wooden grips and bird pommel. Turkish stamps (cresent moon and star) on back blade near quillion, under curve of quillion and on pommel. Arabic script on left ricasso, and 'tughra' of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (ruled 1876-1909). Leather scabbard with metal chape and collar with oval frog button, star and crescent moon stamps on collar.
