Pierced 'gothic style' guard with crowned bugle horn, blade chased but design indistinct. Blade single-fullered with proof mark on one side of ricasso, and maker's name, 'Hobson & Sons, London & Woolwich' on other ricasso. Fish-skin grip triple-wire bound. Steel two-ring scabbard. Late 19th century
