Descriptionbox containing 4 spent lead balls, two with labels (108 & 106). Enclosed are 2 scraps of paper, one typed, 'POLISHED BALL OF GREY GRANITE, used for playing an older form of "marbles". Presented by James Taylor, 20th Oct., .28.' and the other is handwritten, 'Two balls fired at myself in the Waterkloof one when skirmishing in open ground on the 16th Octr /51 the other when burning Macomo's village on the 24th do. W.A. King(?) 74th.'
